Janis F. Kearney debuts her second memoir, a sequel to Cotton field of Dreams: A Memoir. In Something to Write Home About: Memories from a Presidential Diarist, she describes her eight years with the Clinton Administration as ‘nothing she could have ever dreamed,’ down on her father’s cotton farm. Her five years as President Clinton’s personal diarist included witnessing and documenting history in the making each day she walked into the white house. The book includes Kearney’s years with two important mentors in her life: Daisy Gatson Bates, and President William Jefferson Clinton.
